At The Apollos Center, we believe in the holistic healing power of both professional counseling and the eternal truths of God's Word. Our mission is to walk alongside individuals and families with compassion and clinical excellence, offering hope and restoration through Christ-centered care. Rooted in biblical truth and informed by evidence-based practices, our counselors are licensed professionals who provide trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and developmentally appropriate care. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relational challenges, or past trauma, we are here to support you with wisdom, integrity, and grace. At the heart of our work is a deep belief that true healing comes when psychological insight and spiritual transformation work hand in hand.
Why “Apollos”?
Named after Apollos, an early disciple in the New Testament renowned for his scriptural knowledge, fervent spirit, and willingness to learn, our center embodies these qualities in our counseling approach. That’s the kind of work we do with our clients every day: grounded in truth, motivated by love, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Founded in 2017 in Cypress, Texas, we exist to meet a need that many churches struggle to fill—providing quality, professional counseling that’s clinically sound and biblically faithful.

We are committed to walking with individuals, couples, and families toward emotional healing, spiritual growth, and relational restoration. Through professional care rooted in biblical wisdom, we seek to reflect God’s love and foster lasting transformation in the lives of those we serve.
What Makes Us Different
While many practices focus narrowly, we embrace a generalist, client-centered approach, tailoring our counseling to meet each individual's unique needs and goals. Each of our counselors is trained to work with a wide range of challenges—and more importantly, to listen deeply and adapt to each person’s needs and goals.

With a staff of six licensed counselors, we bring a wide range of clinical tools—CBT, DBT, EMDR, play therapy, art therapy, and more—and combine them with a heart for the local church and the people who fill it.
